We designed this deck around a simple spoken sequence. Players take turns laying down a card while speaking the next word in the fixed order: taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza. When the card face matches the spoken word, all players slap the center pile, and the last hand down picks up the discard stack.

How to play, step by step

The Five-Word SequenceEach player flips a card face up to the center while speaking the next word in order. You watch the card surface and listen to the voice at the same time, waiting for the spoken word and the artwork to align.

Action Cards and False SlapsSpecial cards disrupt the rhythm by requiring a physical action before you can slap the pile. Flinching on an unmatched card or hesitating on an action sends the entire center pile into your draw deck.

Players and AgeWe scaled the rules for two to eight players, with an age of 7 and up printed on the box. New players learn the sequence in the opening minute of play.

Fifteen-Minute RoundsRounds run for about 15 minutes, moving quickly from the first flip until one player empties their hand and lands the final slap on the center deck.
