We made this Halloween edition to dress up our matching formula with seasonal art and themed action cards. Players sit around the table chanting Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza in order while flipping a card into the center. When the spoken word matches the revealed card or a special action card lands, the race to slap the pile starts.

The chanted sequencePlayers take turns naming the next item in the spoken sequence while flipping one card face up. The moment the spoken word matches the face of the card, everyone slaps the discard pile. The slowest hand collects all the cards on the table.

Halloween action cardsSpecial seasonal cards appear in the deck with their own table gestures. When one flips up, each player performs the assigned physical action before slapping down on the pile. Mistimed gestures or false starts send the whole stack into your hand.

Table size and ageThe box specifies ages 8 and up and supports groups from 2 to 8 players. Rules take under a minute to explain, letting a full group start flipping and slapping without reading through a long booklet.
