We designed On the Flip Side to turn the familiar sequence around. The deck works on its own or shuffles into our original game when you want a larger group around the table. Players chant the spoken order while watching for reversed characters and new movement cards.

The reverse mechanicCards show characters facing backward, which requires players to slap the discard pile with the back of their hand instead of their palm when a match appears.

Rhythm and penaltiesPlayers chant taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza in order as they drop cards. A hesitation, a false slap, or using the wrong side of your hand gives you the entire discard pile.

Player count and agesThe standalone deck supports 2 to 8 players, with age 7 and up marked on the box. Rules take less than a minute to explain to someone joining mid-game.
