We designed Bing Bang Boom around a quick pattern-matching race and a shout. Players flip and match firework cards across shared launch pads, calling out Bing, Bang, and Boom in order to clear their hand. With fewer spots than matching cards on the table, every round ends in a scramble to avoid the dud card.

How to play, step by step

Launch pads and firework setsPlayers race to match firework cards and claim launch pads in the center of the table. You shout the sequence out loud as you drop your cards, building up the display before another player claims the spot.

The dud card scrambleWith four launch pads open for five cards, the round works like a quick card version of musical chairs. When the race finishes, one player gets stuck holding the dud and takes the penalty for the turn.

Sized for small or large groupsWe set the deck for 2 to 6 players, with age 7 and up on the box. New players learn the matching sequence in one practice hand, so rounds start right after shuffling.

Ten-minute roundsEach game takes about 10 minutes from deal to final score. That brief playtime lets a group reset the deck immediately or fit a full match into a quick break at the table.
