In this game, players race to count to one hundred on their potato sheet, but the entire table shares a single pencil. You roll the die on your turn while the pencil holder writes as fast as possible. Rolling the pencil symbol lets you grab the pencil and shout Gimme That, interrupting their count and starting your own.

One Pencil and a DieThe table setup centers on a single pencil that moves rapidly between players. Everyone takes turns rolling the die, waiting for the pencil face to appear so they can claim writing rights.
The Race to Count PotatoesWhile you hold the pencil, your job is marking off numbered potatoes in sequence on your paper. Your turn to write stops the exact second another player rolls the pencil symbol and takes it.
Table Size and AgeWe built this for 3 to 8 players, with an age recommendation of 7 and up printed on the box. The rules take only a moment to explain before the rolling starts.
Shouting the CatchphraseWhen the die lands on the pencil side, you shout Gimme That and snatch the pencil out of play. Other die faces trigger group motions that pause the writer.
